In 1985, she started teaching a few gymnastics classes at the Maumelle Community Center. Her business continued to grow. In 2012, Connie built a new gym to house her still growing business.

A teacher has been arrested and charged with four counts of sexual assault in the first degree. The teacher has been teaching in the district for eleven years.
